Helping the North Seattle Dental practice moving smoothly and keeping patients happy is what Jessica does best.
While Jessica loves working in the wonderful world of dentistry, she wasn’t always a fan of “visiting the dentist”. In fact, she had dental fears! She grew up with the idea that you only see the dentist when it hurts, and this created a dental anxiety for her. So, how’d she get around it? She started working as a dental assistant, with the goal of making her dental appointments less scary. And now, 20+ years later, she’s helping to make our patients’ visits with us an even friendlier experience.
When she’s not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading, taking photos, and hanging out with her 5 cats! A San Diego original, who moved to the sunny Northwest when she was 10, Jess’ mantra is “keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground” (Theodore Roosevelt).
Affiliations & Recent Accomplishments? Jessica is an active member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) – nationally and also with the NW chapter. And in September 2024 she earned her AADOM Fellowship (FAADOM) – A level of distinction that is quite a detailed process, requiring a lot of time and commitment. (Nice work!)
Quirk? Her food cannot touch. For Thanksgiving she uses a cafeteria tray with sections to separate things. (Now that’s dedication!)
Where did you grow up? Born in San Diego and lived in Mountain View, CA until 10 before moving up to Bremerton, and the sunny Northwest!
