We’re part of a community and are committed to helping out in our Seattle and Puget Sound neighborhood whenever we can. Here are some of the community outreach programs we currently support:

US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer
(The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become a valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family. Heart Walk
This is the American Heart Association’s premier fundraiser to promote physical activity and heart healthy living. This raises funds to save lives from America’s #1 and #3 causes of death, heart disease and stroke.

Donated Dental Services
Donated Dental Services (DDS) is a program of the Seattle-King County Dental Society and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH). Volunteer dental health professionals and dental labs support this critical program in King County. DDS tends to the essential and comprehensive dental care of our County’s most vulnerable people; disabled, elderly or medically compromised people who cannot afford the necessary treatment nor get public aid. These DDS patients fall through the cracks of public health programs, especially Medicaid and Medicare.

Seattle King County Dental Society, NW Kidney Center and King County Project Access
The goal of this life saving program is to provide dental care to dialysis patients. Many of the patients cannot afford dental care, as a result they are in poor oral health. This is a significant barrier to receive clearance for a kidney transplant. We provide free dental treatment to help free them of any dental pain and infection so they can be cleared for a kidney transplant. We continue to see them until they have received their transplant.

MusiCares
MusiCares is a program sponsored by the Grammys that provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares’ services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. We treat patients referred to us in this program for a reduced fee and MusiCares sponsors the remainder of the fees. These patients are artists and anyone affiliated in the music industry.

EnviroStars
Green Lifestyle Choices: EnviroStars is a program designed to educate small businesses in reducing hazardous materials and waste, in order to protect public health, municipal systems, and the environment. EnviroStars represents a proactive way to enhance the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest, where residents and businesses place a high value on protecting natural resources and want to contribute to healthier communities. As a dental office, we have changed how we handle our hazardous materials. Certified businesses are recognized with a 2- to 5-Star rating. We have been an Envirostar office since 1998, and became a 5-Star office in 2002. The 5 star rating was awarded as we helped other offices improve their management of waste.
